Why Choose Us?

Hands down, we love what we do and we want you to feel like you absolutely love having these pieces in your home.  Whether we craft cabinetry or something more personal, we want the piece to give that warm feeling only age old character can authenticate.

We believe furniture should be built from solid wood using traditional methods; not built from chemical laden, pressed boards, and engineered particle material.  We take pride in hand selecting each board and gathering many together in order to tell a new story for you and your home.  Century Oak pieces are built from boards that are often 100 years old or more, carefully crafted by one maker and built to fill any space with nostalgia and old world charm.

We care a lot.  Not just about the craft of carpentry and woodworking but also the overall experience you have while working with us.  If you want to bring life to a vision or recreate an old antique, we want to discuss the details with you one-on-one.  Each step should be carefully considered by you and understood by us. Yet, if you don't know where to start; we want you to know that you can fully trust our expertise in creating it from beginning to end without a single worry.

MOST IMPORTANTLY:

Reclaimed wood was once alive and harvested with intention by the hands of extremely hard-working people. It tells the story of time, techniques, wear, and a life that was once lived.  Brian and I have a deep respect for the century old ways and the craft we are blessed to have recreating for you and your family.  We want each piece we build to show not just our masterful skill but to display the skills of the craftsmen before us. Centuries of character must be shared and passed on with new purpose and with a forever appreciation of what once was.
